Meet the Team

The story of Bradan Lodges began in the summer of 2025, born from a deep-rooted love for the unsurpassed beauty and history of Western Scotland. For owners Edward and Julia Timpson, the decision to buy this retreat was an easy one—a chance to share a landscape they both adore.

The Team Behind the Sanctuary Hospitality at the lodges is a true team effort, blending individual passions into one seamless guest experience:

• Julia is the heart of the daily operations and a dedicated wildlife enthusiast. Her love for the natural world ensures the lodges remain a sanctuary for the red squirrels and deer that call the glen home.
• Edward focuses his energy on the character of the lodges themselves. With a keen eye for design, he is constantly renovating and refining the spaces to ensure they stay as unique as the landscape they sit in. When not improving the estate, he can usually be found exploring the rugged Munros and hills of the Highlands.
• Zoe, the Lodge Manager, is the guardian of the guest experience. With a cheerful energy and an uncompromising eye for detail, she ensures every lodge is presented to a flawless standard. Her attentive approach is what transforms a simple getaway into a truly special memory.

A Family of Dog Lovers The understanding that a holiday is only complete when the whole family is present comes from personal experience. As devoted dog lovers, the team includes Lucas (the owners’ Border Terrier) along with Tia (the Border terrier) and Bailey (the Chihuahua), who belong to Zoe. This isn’t just a business; it’s an invitation to experience the treasure of Kilmichael Glen, the magic of the River Add, and the restorative power of a Highland escape where every family member—on two legs or four—is truly welcome.
