Sam23/05/2024Woodcock Lodge is a truly beautiful place to stay in Scotland. We stayed there for our engagement this week, and I don’t think we could have found a better place! Ross also helped me find the best place to pop the question on a nearby private boat charter, Venture West with Sandy! The hot tub is amazing on a cold day, rain or shine. I’d recommend to bring some extra fire logs / fire lighters if you want to keep the fire going strong if you’re there for a few nights, but not a requirement as there are electric heaters throughout. There’s logs available at most petrol stations nearby.Surprisingly, the internet was also very fast, which I wasn’t expecting as it is in the middle of nowhere, but it was brilliant as it meant we were able to get Netflix going on the TV.Willow20/05/2024Great stay, lovely surroundings and great walks. Quite road which was great.Alex16/05/2024Magical lodge, perfect for our honeymoon. Ross made us feel right at home. The lodge was setup perfectly especially the bathroom with lovely copper bathtub. The bbq hut was so much fun and the fairy lights in the outdoor space. We would definetly recommend and we’ll visiting again in the future.Sue14/05/2024We loved our stay at Woodcock lodge. We enjoyed using the BBQ hut and it was a perfect end to the day to be sat in the hot tub surrounded by beautiful scenery. Very comfortable and hot tub was a great addition!Steve09/04/2024We had a wonderful 3-day stay at Woodcock Cabin!Unfortunately, we arrived in the midst of Storm Kathleen, resulting in the hot tub cover being blown clean off and limiting us to low-level hikes for the first couple of days. Still, we really loved the stay.We parked up at Loch Coille-Bharr, and after a lap of the very pleasant loch, we walked over to Islandadd Bridge and down the lovely canal to Crinan. On day 2, we drove a little further out (about 1 hour and 15 minutes) and climbed the Cobbler near Arrochar, with glorious views and weather.The cabin itself was exactly as described: very clean, private, and well-equipped. There are local walks if you want them (we did a local 10km run from the cabin), and the hot tub is always welcome after a day out.We enjoyed our stay here and would strongly recommend it!
